I got a picture of Black Kitty and Sleepy sharing a sunny spot by the back door today. They were both looking up at Ami expectantly and I thought it was adorable.

I took some more plants and flowers pictures.

I have no idea what this is.

We've had the Sentra for two years next month. This shows how much we drive it.

Some more cherry blossom tree pictures! This time with bees! These were taken with my iPhone and were edited by Ami in Aperture.

Bees fascinate me. I love to watch them work.

I took some pictures of the cherry trees out in front of the Church of the Wildwood while Ami was at the scrapbooking group meeting. Most of these were post processed by Ami in Apple Aperture. I need to get a Mac :)

This is Sleepy's toy, Baby. She beats the crap out of this toy, as you can tell. It's so funny when we tell her "You better get your Baby!" and she'll attack it, biting and bunny kicking. Some of that happened tonight and this is how she left Baby.

Today was long. Work was going fine until around 3:00 and all hell broke loose again.

The big thing that happened today outside of that is I upgraded the hard drive in Ami's computer! She's no longer squeezing into 80 gigs. She's now got a spacious 500 gig, 7200 RPM hard drive. It's making a world of difference. I replaced the drive and installed Snow Leopard and the result is a very snappy computer.

Here's the hard drive dock we got so she can just keep her old drive around and access it when she wants.

And here's the freshly upgraded Macbook.

This is my very own entry for There, I Fixed It.

My desk phone and wireless headset.

The handset lifter is too thick for the handset to sit correctly in the cradle and keep the phone hung up when it needs to be. So I did the following.

It's a bottle cap from a 2 liter bottle held on with a rubber band. It works even though it's a bit of a kludge!

My dad had surgery today and he did well. He's in a lot of pain but that's expected. They repaired two blisters on his lungs and reattached his lung where it's supposed to be. Thank you everyone for the prayers!

On the way back from Albany we stopped at the power dam in Warwick, GA. My best friends Michael and Billy along with our dads used to go down here and go fishing (and skip school) quite a bit. I took some pictures and created some panoramas with Autostich.

I got some artsy pictures of the equipment, too.

3/21/2010: This is Getting Serious

I said there'd be more today and there is. Turns out one of those fine Super Badger Brushes descended from the heavens and followed me home!

The box and unwrapping:

My old Best Badger Brush. Nothing wrong with it but you can tell it's been well loved.

I saw the Super Badger yesterday and just had to have one when I found out that I could sign up for a club membership with Crabtree & Evelyn and save 20%. I can't wait to shave with it and see how it lathers up!

3/20/2010

We had to go to Atlanta today to get Ami's iPhone replaced. She had bonded with her old one but this new one has the advantage of turning on when she presses the button so it's winning her over.

While we were at Perimeter Mall we went by Crabtree & Evelyn. It's the only brick and mortar store that I've been to that has wet shaving supplies. I got a few pictures while we were there.

This is a shave set they had for a multi-blade cartridge razor. It's made for Crabtree & Evelyn by Edwin Jagger.

Same kind of thing but in chrome.

More on that tomorrow.
