Yesterday, the world lost a wonderful person. My Aunt Kris was taken from us far too soon. We will miss her greatly. Please keep her husband, my Uncle Phil, in your thoughts and prayers.

Tonight we met up with Margie, Lamar, David, and Ginger at Cracker Barrel in Perry for supper. We had a great time. Afterward, we went to the Georgia National Fair. Well, not really. We just took pictures of stuff from the parking lot. There was a fence and some cars in the way but we didn't let it deter us. I took some shots on film with my Yashica Electro 35 GSN and Hipstamatic on my iPhone. Ami took a lot with her iPhone using Hipstamatic and our Sony A350 dSLR.
Here's some I took.

Ami took one of me about to take one of her. I didn't take the shot because the sun was at her back and it wouldn't have turned out well. I thought this was a good shot of me though.

It's been a hell of a week. At least it's over.
I took a few more foliage pictures today. These have been played with a bit to get some crazy saturation

I've been working a lot of long hours lately and haven't been able to shoot many pictures. Today I went outside for a short break and saw this leaf on our back steps. I thought it was beautiful.

I know it's just a little leaf but it signifies so much. The world around us changes with each season. It's a cycle, like the cycle of life, that's a miracle all unto itself.
