I decided to dig out a camera I picked up at a flea market a few years ago and take some shots of it. It's an Argus Argoflex Seventy-five. I wouldn't mind getting some 620 film for it sometime and taking some pictures just to see how it does. I'd really like to get an actual twin lens reflex camera at some point. Maybe a Rolleicord, Yashicamat, Minolta Autocord, or Seagull.

An old battery that was in the flash when I bought it.

The pollen! Oh, the POLLEN! It's particularly bad this year. We should get some rain this week to help wash it out but I don't know if it'll be enough. Every time I go outside it feels like I have talcum powder on my hands because of the pollen. I have to wipe my hands with hand wipes or wash them after going out in it.

I was thinking about posting some pictures of our nieces from Easter on here but thought I shouldn't. I posted some pictures of them a while back and got people looking at them that I didn't want looking at them, if you know what I mean. There are sick people in the world.

I took this one of Black Kitty and Sleepy heat drunk and napping by the back door.

At some point in the near future we'd like to put a sun room on the back of the house and the cats will really get a lot of enjoyment out of that.

I'm worn out from the day. Good food and time with family. And pollen, lots of pollen. It was like a pollen storm out there.

Here's a few shots from the day. There are lots more to come.

More flowers!

First up is a purple tree in our back yard. I don't know what kind it is but it's very pretty.

I'm not sure what this little yellow flower (weed, I'm sure) is. Notice the profusion of pollen in these next shots. It's ridiculous how much pollen we have here.

Last year I got a catalog from a mail order nursery that had a $25 free order gift certificate. I decided to order some phlox to give some ground cover and color to the embankment in front of our house. I ordered the bright red and thought that it'd look really sharp out there by the road. The first year they didn't do much of anything. Now they're blooming and not quite bright red, but that's OK.

I'm on a flowers kick lately. These are some little purple flowers that grow out in our yard with the clovers.
